Frequently asked questions will be listed here as they are asked.
Will there be stages on the beach?
No, the main stage will be in the Buller Quay Car Park, with another smaller stage at the West Looe Quayside Centre, plus stages in 15 hotel and pub venues. The beach will be open to the public as usual.
How do I donate?
The best way to donate is using this form (Download pledge form and gift aid declaration) and dropping it into the Looe Town Council offices. If you are a UK taxpayer please Gift Aid your donation, as it increases the value to the festival by 25%.
You can also donate at crowdfunder.co.uk using the following link: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/looe-saves-the-day Donations on crowdfunder.co.uk can still be gift aided as the money is going to the Looe Development Trust Charity.
How much are the tickets?
This year the event is free entry subject to space and safety considerations. Access to the main stage will be on a first come first served basis and if it reaches capacity it will be on a one in and one out arrangement.
The rest of the town is open to all as usual and there are over 20 venues across the town playing music throughout the weekend.
How do I help?
The Contact link on this website has an email address to contact regarding volunteering.
Will there be public transport running?
Plymouth City Bus are re-organising their schedule to ensure that festival goers can get to and from Looe at appropriate times. Below is a link to their timetables. This will be updated nearer to the event.
Which bands will be appearing?
The line-up for the festival and the performance schedule is a work in progress. The Line up link on this website will be updated as acts are confirmed.
I bought tickets for the Looe Music Festival. Can I get a refund?
We are not connected in any way to the LMF, but we understand that you may be able to get a refund from your credit/debit card company. Paypal will also refund you if you bought your tickets in the last 180 days.
Is the BBC Introducing Stage still running?
Yes. They will be, but not on the beach. We will publish the venue once it is confirmed.
I booked a stall from LMF, is the space still available?
We have received several emails from traders who were booked to attend the now defunct LMF. We have been in discussions with the Harbour Commission regarding using the space occupied by the stalls last year. Unfortunately at such short notice there is no possibility of getting the required risk assessments and licences in place, and we also don’t have the funds to safely manage the area. Sadly therefore there will be no possibility of any trade stalls in the town at this year’s festival.
We have engaged a company to manage all aspects of the official festival area in the Buller Quay car park, and the decision as to who would be granted a pitch has been left to them. There was extremely limited space available and also limited time. We all have great sympathy with the traders who had booked to attend the original festival, but sadly there is nothing we can do to help.
