FROM UP COUNTRY (SOMEWHERE BEYOND PLYMOUTH)

We hope you can find your way down to the border without our help. Cross the Tamar Bridge on the A38 at Plymouth – you are now in Cornwall. Watch out for low flying pasties, Cornish piskies and lakes of clotted cream.

Follow the A38 for approximately 8 miles, then take the first exit from the roundabout at Trerulefoot A374 sign posted Looe. After 1.5 miles turn right onto A387. The A387 becomes the B3253 and after about 7 miles and you will descend the hill into Looe.

You will see The Globe pub on the left and the train station on your right. Follow the road until you come to the bridge. Directly in front of you is the Harbour car park. If this isn’t already full of cars, it will be full of people and bands playing, so cross the bridge into West Looe and you’ll see the Millpool car park on your right.

Alternatively, use google maps.

FROM BODMIN

From Bodmin follow the A38 towards Plymouth. About 2 miles after Liskeard turn right onto B 3252. (Note: this is an odd junction – as you need to be in the right hand lane of the dual carriageway to access the off ramp. Follow the B3252 for about 2 miles, then the road becomes quite narrow, then becomes the A387. Continue along this road for about another 2 miles, then at the bottom of the hill the road bears left and follows the river into Looe.
